About Us
The Iranian Jewish Chronicle is the largest and only English language online Iranian Jewish magazine in the world. Our monthly online magazine reaches educated and affluent Iranian Jewish readers each month throughout the world. While our readers primarily hail from an Iranian Jewish heritage, the magazine has appealed to thousands of other readers since its online launch.
The magazine was originally envisioned by Mr. Dariush Fakheri, our chief editor, and established in 1987 by the Iranian American Jewish Association (SIAMAK), one of the oldest Iranian Jewish non-profit group in Southern California. Mr. Fakheri has since been in charge of the quality, and the content of this popular and influential publication.
With the merger of the Siamak, Eretz Cultural center and the Neria Yomtoubian foundation in 2003, the new organization is now behind this publication.
In 2006, Mr. Fakheri decided that the Los Angeles based magazine to be only published online. With interactive media, today we cover all aspects of Iranian Jewish life in North America, Europe, Israel, and Iran.
I.J. Chronicle and its staff are pleased to be one of the world’s most up to date and reliable news sources on Iran Jewry.
